MEDIA SOSIAL DAN FILANTROPI: KONSTRUKSI WACANA DAN TRANSFORMASI PEMAKNAAN FILANTROPI PADA MEDIA SOSIAL DI INDONESIA

Abstract

Fenomena filantropi yang masif terjadi saat ini di masyarakat Indonesia yang banyak dipengaruhi oleh para Influencer dengan banyak mengkampanyekan aksi Filantropinya di media sosial sehingga menimbulkan wacana serta tranformasi baru terhadap pemaknaan filantropi dilihat dari arus media sosial dan dilihat dari wacana filantropi di Indonesia itu sendiri kemudian tranformasi komunikasi pemaknaan Filantropi serta realitas Filantropi di Media Sosial. Melalui metode kualitatif dengan analisisnya menggunakan pemikiran Anthony Giddens mengenai perubahan sosial dengan pendekatan struktural. Tulisan ini mencoba menganalisis lebih dalam bagaimana perubahan pemaknaan Filantropi dilihat dari sudut pandang komunikasi pemaknaan yang merupakan salah satu indikator dalam melihat perubahan sosial secara luas oleh Anthony Giddens. Tulisan ini akan melihat bagaimana konstruksi wacana Filantropi. Sehingga akan didapatkan bagaimana gambaran wacana yang melibatkan medan, sarana dan aktornya. Selanjutnya pada transformasi pemaknaan Filantropi akan dibahas lewat tiga indikator yang dianggap sebagai faktor pendukung munculnya perubahan sosial berupa penafsiran yang menyebabkan tindakan. Adapun ketiga indikator tersebut adalah: significatio, dominasion, dan legitimation.
