Abstract

parenting is the most important part that must be done because having parenting for children‘s independence. The problem is this study is how to implement democratic parenting in shaping children‘s independence in RA Al-Firdaus Karanggede, Arjosari, Pacitan. The purpose of this research is to find out democratic parenting patterns to from early childhood independence. The method used to find out the results of this research is descriptive qualitative quality by looking directly at and giving some quations to parents. The results if this study indicate that democratic parenting has been widely used by parents to foster children‘s character, one of which of forming independence. How to realize democratic parenting, namely: children are invite to be responsible in on activity, children cand adapt to their environment and children can be taught freedom in determining what to do.
