AKULTURASI NILAI-NILAI ISLAM DALAM KEARIFAN LOKAL PADA MASYARAKAT SUNDA

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to analyze Islamic values in a local area,
especially in the context of traditional Sundanese marriage. Local wisdom that
emerged in an area of course different from local wisdom in other areas. However, all
the local wisdom that is present in Indonesia because of the large number of ethnic
and tribal influences from Islam as the majority religion in this country. Especially in
Tatar Sunda is very synonymous with Islam because the majority of the population
is Muslim. Even extreme, there is a Sundanese who says “Islam teh Sunda jeung
Sunda teh Islam” which is then mediated with “Islam heula samemeh Sunda” or the
Sundanese must Islam first and everything that Sundanese and not contrary to Islam,
make a Sundanese Islam became Sunda.
