DIFFERENCES IN THE USE OF LANGUAGES BETWEEN MEN AND WOMEN IN KISAH UNTUK GERI MOVIES: SOCIOLINGUISTIC STUDIES

Abstract

In society, language has an important role in the process of communication and interaction. Language differences are found in men and women. Language diversity based on gender arises because language as a social symptom is closely related to social attitudes. This social reality is reflected through language. The researcher examines these differences in the Kisah Untuk Geri Movies by using a qualitative descriptive method. The researcher used a phenomenological perspective to understand the events in interacting with the data the writer collected through observation with oral data sources. This study aims to analyze and describe the differences in language between men and women in Kisah Untuk Geri Movies.
